Urgent Appointments

Urgent appointments are available throughout the day.  These appointments are reserved for genuine emergencies which have arisen in the previous 24 hours and cannot wait for the next available appointment.

We would ask you, please do not abuse this system, as this results in genuine emergency treatment being delayed.

Please phone as close to 8:30 a.m to book one of these appointments and please bear in mind that some days when demand is higher they may go quickly.

Your appointment will either be with a GP or with an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.

Emergency Same Day Appointments

Patients requiring on the day appointments are asked to phone as close to 8:30 am Monday – Friday.

You will be asked the reason for your appointment and your telephone number.

A clinician will then call you back to discuss the issues you may have.

If a face-to-face appointment is deemed necessary, this will be made for you by the clinician.

Out of Hours Surgery

Between 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. to  6:30 pm Monday – Friday we share “out of hours surgery” with Barlow House Surgery, Milford Haven to cover patients of both practices.

Cancer Research UK are running a campaign from 16th August 2021 on TV, social media, in pharmacies and in the press to positively influence the public’s attitudes to seeking timely help for potential signs and symptoms of cancer.

We would like to communicate the message that we are open but operating in a different way to maintain your safety as best as we can during the pandemic.

Please contact the practice if you notice a change that isn’t normal for you or if you have a symptom that you are worried about.

We know that you may be finding it difficult to get an appointment, but it is important that you keep trying.

We are ready to help you safely. You will be able to talk through your concerns with a clinician.

If you need to go for follow-up tests or see a specialist at the hospital, they will follow strict guidance on infection control to keep you safe.

It’s important that you ensure that you go.
